Children Ministry

Infants to 6th Grade

We would love to have your children join us for Sunday and Wednesday services. On Sunday morning at 10:00 we have age appropriate classes that take the ordinary out of Sunday. Children will begin to build their self-esteem as they learn about God's love and interact with excellent role models, learning important Biblical principles.

Infants to 2 years

We offer a caring and safe nursery for infants to two years during the morning worship service.

2 years through 2nd grade

We have traditional classes with age appropriate lessons and qualified teachers.

Each class has an interactive Bible Lesson, Craft, Snack and Music

So much fun with lots of friends, they don't want to miss!

Youth Ministry (U-TURN)

Single Adult (FOCAS)

Turnpoint has a very active and thriving Fellowship of Christian Adult Singles. They gather once per month at the church for games, good food, and great fellowship. Sharon Livengood works very hard to have a theme, a great menu and encourages all singles to attend. If you have any questions about the next fellowship, call the church at (614) 836-3777.

Grief & Loss

H.E.L.P. Healing the Effects of Loss & Pain

H.E.L.P. is a Grief and Loss Support Group that meets at the church the last Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. This is free and is open to anyone that has experienced the loss of someone near to them. The H.E.L.P. Group hosts a picnic each summer and has a Candlelighting Ceremony at the church at Christmas time. This meeting is open to the public. Please call the church at (614) 836-3777 if you have any questions.

Men’s Ministry

We encourage you, if you are able to attend Mens Prayer every Wednesday morning at 6:00 a.m. Often a number of men will gather for breakfast afterwards at a local restaurant.

Our men have an annual weekend camp-out each year at Hocking Hills State Park. They enjoy fishing, canoeing, and a number of other activities.

Nursing Home

Turnpoint members minister to the residents of Winchester Place, located in Canal WInchester, every Sunday morning from 9-10 a.m. Please contact Rick DeWitt at (614)836-3777 if you are interested in learning more about this ministry.

Campus Ministry (ROGUE)

Compassion Ministry

If you are looking for a place to get involved, this is it! Turnpoint has a dedicated team of people that prepare and serve a hearty meal once per month to the residents of a Faith Mission Homeless Shelter.

We visit the elderly and shut-ins delivering meals, coffee and CD’s of services at Turnpoint. We go to a local Nursing Home every Sunday and conduct a service for the residents. We have hosted cook-outs for our local community and delivered cookie trays to various government offices.

Ladies Ministry

The Ladies of Turnpoint meet for devotion and prayer every Thursday at 9:30 a.m. On occasion they may choose to go to lunch afterwards for fellowship.

Our Ladies have a number of organized events throughout the year from Mom & Kid Play-dates to Trips to Amish Country. One of our favorites is “The Grand Table Affair”. Hostesses decorate their table with a theme and invite guests to join them for a wonderful lunch. Each hostess has prepared a dessert fitting her theme. They are asked to share a few words of why they have chosen their particular theme. It is a great time of sharing and fellowship.-
